 Which Way?

By Thalia Drayer

I'm Jenny, no last name, just Jenny, I have long blonde hair and a cheeky smile, I am really flexible, and quite strong. I don’t remember much from my life, just this big fat worm, and a bit. I never met my parents, I guess I don’t really have to, I got a letter, with an explanation, it read;
"Dear jenny, I know that this letter might be a short one, and not have the answers you need, but it is written by a friend of the person who knows you better than anyone, this man, one day, will come back for you, I don’t know when, and I don’t know how, but he will, and when you see him, your two hearts will beat fast. This man is very clever, he has travelled the world, seen the stars, this person can and will answer all your questions, if not, well… This letter is written and sent in the presence of this brilliant man, I love him, and you need to remember, that he loves you to. Goodbye for now Dr. River Song."

River Song? I don’t know who that is… but this man she was talking about, could he be my father? Maybe… hopefully one day he will come for me, and I will travel with him, and see the stars, maybe he's a pilot.

I sighed and closed my computer, finishing my work for the evening. I got up, holding my cup of tea, I walked to the living room and sat down on a couch. I lived with my friend, we aren’t dating, so get that thought out of your head, fast! We met at collage, and since then we have been very close friends, his name is Jack, Jack Harkness, Captain Jack, but I miss that. He doesn’t mind.

I sat down the opposite couch from him, sipping my tea, he was watching TV, a big green tree stood in the corner. "What we watching?" I asked. "News" I rolled my eyes, this man was addicted to the news, especially on the holidays, the reporter said something, jack glared at the screen . "How's Torchwood?" He asked me, I nodded, he had put in a good word there when I needed a job, I was slowly regaining my memory, I remembered the stars, and this war… and weird alien guys, the head of my department, Martha Jones, showed me pictures of the aliens, and I remembered more. "Great, its… great" Jack looked up from the news, his eyebrow raised."I can still remember this man,  at the very back of my head, and I keep asking for a photo of him, anything that will help me remember, but no one will show me anything!!!" I said, getting up, I walked to the computer and typed, 'madman in the blue box', Jack shut the computer, but it was too late, I saw a photo, of a man in a long brown coat.

"THAT’S HIM!!" I shouted, jack sighed and let me open the laptop again, I looked through all the photos, getting my memory back faster than ever, then I heard something outside, a whooshing noise, I go t up and pulled back the curtains. A blue police box was standing outside on the streets, and someone walked out, he wore a long brown coat, a darker brown pinstripe suit, white running shoes, a red brown tie and a pair of black glasses

"Dad" I breathed, I ran downstairs, throwing the door open, I ran towards the blue police box, remembering everything.
